FIGHT FOR A CURE

Join the Fight Against Cancer

Fight on the Beaches is a Northern Beaches based fundraising group dedicated to funding Australian cancer researchers in the lab. With the incredible support of our local community, we have raised over $3 million in the past 10 years to drive forward ground-breaking cancer research.

Your efforts can make a big impact

Due to the generosity of the Northern Beaches, and Sydney wide community we have funded 13 research projects, which has equated to 13 years of research.

CONGRATULATIONS PROFESSOR MATT DUN

Thanks to the generous support from the Fight for a Cure community, Prof Matt Dun's DIPG research, which received funding in 2019, has already yielded promising early results.

CONGRATULATIONS DR MALINDA ITCHINS

Dr Malinda Itchin's study found that using the patient’s blood samples to monitor DNA (genes) and proteins in the blood can help predict how a patient will perform on treatment. These blood test analyses were made possible with Fight on the Beaches support.
